Last Anniversary as Two

Today is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary.

And if you want some CrAzY numbers, I did a bunch of calculations based on our time together last year. See this.

This is also our last anniversary as a family of two. Come next year we’ll have a 5/6 month old baby!

So, cheers to love.

And I’m finally brave enough to show you some snippets of our wedding video…I’m a crier, so don’t be surprised.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Indeed. It’s a good week…always is. And it was great fun 3 years ago to celebrate my birthday at our rehearsal dinner, then getting to get married the next day! :-)

  3. Happy Anniversary, sounds like a great week for you! Loved watching some of your wedding video:-)

Wow… That was… WONDERFUL! I told myself I wasn’t going to cry, and I didn’t… until the end. Thank you so much for sharing this. It has made my day happier! (My favorite part was the twirling…) Ü May God continue to bless you both even more than he already has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww! I definitely teared up! (And you’re not alone… I just about didn’t get through my part of the vows audibly… and my Mom had to pass a hankie to my bridesmaid, who passed it to my maid of honor, who passed it to me while she was keeping my veil out of a candle. lol)

Have a wonderful anniversary, and the first full day of being 25! :)

  6. Congratulations! And your video is beautiful. :)
(P.S. …as is your cake. Wow did that look yummy!)

    • caroline says:

It was seriously the best cake I had ever put in my mouth. The middle layer was carrot cake….by far my favorite. And as you could probably guess, the top layer that we ate a year later was chocolate on chocolate…dark chocolate to the extreme. Mmm! ;-)

  7. Happy Anniversary! Such a gorgeous wedding – the venue is lovely, you looked beautiful, and both you and Logan seem incredibly happy =).

  8. Happy anniversary! I LOVE your dress. And I love what appears to be the food: smoked meat! Earlier today I was moaning about the lack of smoked meat in Germany and then I come home to watch that video and see that big beautiful smoker. Yummy. :)

Anyway, you’re an adorable couple and I wish you many more happy years! I looked at your calculations page and it was really surprising. We were in a long distance relationship for two years and I thought that this was bad enough. Five is just crazy. But you made it! And now you’re having a baby. It’s all just so wonderful. :)

  9. awww! So so sweet. Happy anniversary!

  10. Oh my gosh! You are adorable, and beautiful. Don’t worry, I cried at the altar, too. It’s such an emotional moment, how can you contain yourself!?

    Hope your anniversary is lovely.

    Hugs!

Lots of luck with your new arrival – we had a little boy Luca on 19th August! He was a surprise baby and has changed our lives COMPLETELY lol! You will love being a mummy :-)

    Happy Sunday xxx

Aww, yay for being new mommies! :-) And thank you for your kind words! I bet Luca is adorable. I know I can’t wait to meet my little one!

  14. Mary Ruth Starr says:

Ah…. I do believe you had the most beautiful wedding ever! So pretty! The wedding, and the bride! Love you! Mom

  15. Kate says:

    Hi, your video is beautiful!

I’m having a wedding of my own soon (hence google putting me here)! I’m sure I’ll be bawling…..

Anyway, I wanted to ask you what your second song was. Both of them are absolutely beautiful!

    Thanks!

    • caroline says:

Aww, congratulations Kate! The second song is For My Father by Andy McKee on the Art of Motion album. Thank goodness for the Soundhound song identification app on my phone. Otherwise, I would have never know that. ;-) Good luck with everything! I hope your special day is amazing!
