40 weeks

How far along? 40 weeks
Total weight gain: 11.5 pounds (after initial loss of 4 pounds: 15.5 pounds)
Maternity clothes? Mmm….no question about that!
Stretch marks? Starting to get slight ones on my sides and I definitely have them where my belly button ring was, but they’ve been there for quite some time now. Boo.
Sleep: Bad for most of the time, waking up to contractions and having to pee every 1-2 hours. But, occasionally I’ll have a good stretch of sleep.
Best moment this week: All of the super thoughtful comments that everyone had on instagram (and facebook and twitter).
Miss Anything? Just the general moving around, withstanding this brutal heat, or standing long enough to go shopping in Target!
Movement: Of course.
Food cravings: Sweets! Haha…but, that’s not the pregnancy, that’s just my sweet tooth calling!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.
Gender: It’s a surprise!
Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks contractions off and on, all day….and some occasional cramping.
Symptoms: Fingers swelling…but, I’m blaming that on 90 degree South Carolina heat.
Belly Button in or out? It’s out, but if I push on it a little bit, it goes back in place. Haha!
Wedding rings on or off? Off most of the time, but I will put my wedding band on when I go out of the house.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I’ve been kind of bummed this week, especially after my weekly appointment when nothing had changed since last week, still 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. To top it off they’ve set an induction date for June 6/7th, where I will deliver on the 7th.
Looking forward to: The day to come when I get to meet our baby.
