Restaurant Review: 82 Queen

I’m a little bias towards 82 Queen in Charleston, South Carolina. My very loving and generous 2nd mother and father have spoiled me (Logan’s parents). Not only have they taken us there when Logan and I come into town, but they even hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner there. It was amazing! Every time we go, I always get the crab cake entree. Actually, any restaurant that serves a crab cake, I almost always get it. 82 Queen has the best crab cake I have yet to taste. And, trust me, you can’t go wrong there…I had it has an appetizer…

However, the last time we went there, I tried something new that caught my eye. It was a tempura asparagus, fresh tomatoes, grilled portabella mushrooms topped with alfalfa sprouts. The deliciously fresh vegetables complemented the salty and warm asparagus spears splendidly.

(I apologize for the photo quality…it was a very dim room and I didn’t want to disrupt the group with a flash, but you get the point.)

I also had dessert…Warm Chocolate Bread Pudding. It was so delicious and warm, topped with just the right amount of vanilla ice cream that I totally forgot to take a picture. It sucked me in, and there was no turning back.
