Restaurant Review: Taco Boy

If you are ever in Charleston, South Carolina, you must go to Taco Boy. Some of the best authentic Mexican food…with some American twists.

My sister, Eliza, got the Nutella Stuffed French Toast.

As you can see it was AMAZING. Topped with caramelized pineapple, this delectable breakfast meal is one like no other. I’m going to have to recreate this one!

I was boring and got the Taco Boy Salad with grilled chicken….paired with the Lime Cilantro Vinaigrette, this salad was supreme.

I think there was only one thing I’d have to say that went wrong.

Mosquitoes.

Charleston…well, all of South Carolina, had just gotten rain that was very needed. This brought these HUGE suckers out. We happened to sit on Taco Boy’s beautiful patio, which thankfully had very large fans blowing on us. This made for an interesting eating experience, battling hair blowing in my mouth while eating.

Let’s just say, I’d rather have hair in my mouth than mosquito bites all over my body.
