Well, chocolate&carrots has only been alive for half of 2010! But, that won’t stop me from sharing the favorites of the year! π
…I think you’ll notice a common trend…
…chocolate…
…peanut butter…
…chocolate…
…peanut butter…
…chocolate…
Weee! Enjoy!
10. White Russian Tiramisu Cake
This is for grown-ups and is ALWAYS a crowd pleaser. I made this delicious dessert again for Christmas and I made the mistake of forgetting to drizzle the coffee-KahlΓΊa over the cake layers. I ended up just setting it out next the cake with a spoon and people could drizzle their own on their slice of cake. That way, if you like it really soggy, go ahead and drench it! But if you like it more like a cake, go light on the liquid! π Everyone wins!
9. Healthier Sugar Cookies
For those of you watching what you eat, just like me…these are delicious and just for you! You can even have two! π Have fun decorating!
8. Molasses Crinkles
These are ALWAYS the favorite in my family. When my mom is asked to bring something to a party….the request always includes these molasses crinkles.
7. Gingersnap Pumpkin Pie
My husband doesn’t really prefer pumpkin pie…but this one, he devoured. It is so nutty, cinnamon, and spicy. Yum!!!
6. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake
Chocolate…Peanut Butter…What could be better!
5. Oreo Truffles
These are the ultimate truffles. One bite of deliciousness!
4. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
This seems to be the favorite recipe among visitors of chocolate&carrots. I think I’ve gotten the most hits and searches land on this recipe. So, for all of those chocolate and peanut butter fans: this one is for you!
3. Whole Wheat Pancakes for Two
This is one of my favorite recipes in the whole world. It is so easy that even my husband can handle it….without making a huge mess in the kitchen. We make it at least twice a week for breakfast for a protein and fiberously filling breakfast! I love love love it with peanut butter and pecans. Yum!
2. Chocolate Candy Bark
This is my husbands all time favorite! He gobbled it ALL up. Ever since we ran out, he has been begging me to make it again. I guess it’s about time. π
1. Double Chocolate Pecan Pie
Okay. This thing is my favorite! Whole wheat crust and chocolately goodness. It is sooo dark chocolate filled that you will only want the smallest slice and it is especially good served warm with a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt. Mmmm!
2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011….2011
Yes. Where is my chocolate bark? All of the above work as substitutes as well.
mmmm of course this post would make me drool
Love all of these! So glad I found your blog this year and hope to meet in person in 2011
What a sweet year 2010 was for you. π
