Chocolate Covered Blueberry Drops

Chocolate Covered Blueberry Drops

inspired by Lauren at Keep It Sweet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 60% cacao dark chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli)
  • 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

How-To

  1. In a heat proof bowl over a pot of simmering water (not touching the water), melt the chocolate.
  2. Pour in the blueberries and stir until the blueberries are covered.
  3. With two spoons scoop by the tablespoons the blueberries and chocolate. Place on a baking sheet covered in either parchment paper or a silpat mat.
  4. Place in the refrigerator until hardened.

 

Servings: about 30 drops

  1. Love love LOVE this idea! I am totally making some of these, but I only have frozen blueberries right now, so I think I’ll try that out. I love eating frozen blueberries anyways so chocolate covered sounds amazing!

  2. I’m wondering if these would work with dried blueberries… I have a bag that I need to find a use for, so maybe I’ll give it a shot and report back!

  3. I tried this recipe using a metal bowl on top of my bowl with boiling water in it and the chocolate melted just fine! It turned out so deliciously !!!
