  1. I think I’m going to make that pumpkin chili tomorrow. It looks delicious. Is there a specific reason for the reduced sodium ingredients?

    1. For one, I feel like as a society we intake too much sodium. And two, I’d rather be able to control how much sodium is in my food, rather than the canned goods I’m using determining it. But, of course, you can adapt the recipe and use whatever you have on hand, too. 🙂 I hope you like the chili!

      1. Okay, thanks! I ended up making this last night and it is really good. Only change I made was to swap the cinnamon (don’t like it) for some smoked paprika and dried chipotle and I put in two whole jalapenos (I like it spicy). What a great recipe and a good way to get more pumpkin.
