Today is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary.

This is also our last anniversary as a family of two. Come next year we’ll have a 5/6 month old baby!

Indeed. It’s a good week…always is. And it was great fun 3 years ago to celebrate my birthday at our rehearsal dinner, then getting to get married the next day! 🙂

Aww! I definitely teared up! (And you’re not alone… I just about didn’t get through my part of the vows audibly… and my Mom had to pass a hankie to my bridesmaid, who passed it to my maid of honor, who passed it to me while she was keeping my veil out of a candle. lol)

It was seriously the best cake I had ever put in my mouth. The middle layer was carrot cake….by far my favorite. And as you could probably guess, the top layer that we ate a year later was chocolate on chocolate…dark chocolate to the extreme. Mmm! 😉

Happy anniversary! I LOVE your dress. And I love what appears to be the food: smoked meat! Earlier today I was moaning about the lack of smoked meat in Germany and then I come home to watch that video and see that big beautiful smoker. Yummy. 🙂

We were in a long distance relationship for two years and I thought that this was bad enough. Five is just crazy. But you made it! And now you’re having a baby. It’s all just so wonderful. 🙂
