Don’t look any further if you don’t want your mind BLOWN by the gooey-ness of these.
It WILL blow your mind.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!
Seriously.
They taste just like cookie dough….but better!
Plus, I didn’t feel QUITE as bad eating a few bites since they are made with some whole wheat flour! 😉
AND
There is absolutely NO butter in this recipe.
Hahahaha!
How awesome is that?!?
That just means you can have two with your glass of milk, right???

Ok, is it too late to call in sick so I can stay home and make a batch of these?!
These look amaaaazing!! I love how they stayed nice and gooey in the center ;).
I neeeed these in my life. They’re healthy! Plus look at the chocolate schmear on the knife when you cut ’em…ohman. Gooey perfection!
Yum! Pinned! Looks like we were on the same page with gooey cookie desserts today 🙂
oh my ooey goey amazingness!
I love that you added whole wheat flour. Now I need to go bake up another batch of these!
oh, yum! these look absolutely amazing!
Do you ever bake anything that isn’t amazing?! These look so good – cookies but in brownie bar form!
Yes, please! Yum!
I’m so glad you are eating chocolate again…these look SOOOO good!
Oh no. These are begging to be made. But with more whole wheat! This is definitely something I’d inhale in 30 minutes by myself so I’m going to wait for a special occasion. They’re so gooey! I’m happy you’re back to loving chocolate. 🙂
And I also love that it uses oil. Yay!
Cookie bars are the best! Love these!
These look unbelievable…that first picture is just driving me over the edge right now, I want chocolate! I love that they’re made with canola oil instead of butter – but do you think using applesauce for 1/2 cup (or more) of the oil would really alter the texture here? I know applesauce can make things denser or gummy, not sure if that would be a bad thing here or if I should just stick to oil.
I need a glass of milk just looking at the pics…yum.
Hmm…I’m not sure! That’d be a great experiment though. If you try it let me know how it turns out! 😀
I make a similar recipe and do use applesauce — they don’t keep as long, and are best eaten with in a day or two of making them (or if you don’t eat them all right away, freeze them), but doing 1/2 C applesauce should be fine!
I WANTS!! These are amazinggg, I can’t wait to make them!
oh my goodness I can’t even stand how amazingly gooey these look. I want to jump through the screen and eat them all!
Do you have a fever? NO butter?! These look drool worthy… even without the butter 😉
oh my lord..these are just too amazing looking to not make this weekend. the weather people are calling for snow and i’d love to have a piping hot brownie bar with a large glass of milk to wish away the snow!!
I wonder how these would turn out using coconut oil? They look amazing!
I wish I could make a quarter recipe of these cause I just know I’d try to eat the whole batch in one sitting. Looks chocolaty and gooey – my favorite!
HUBBA HUBBA.
love the pink & green in the photos. do you think if you use less oil, they’d be less gooey? i’m not a fan of doughy treats surprisingly.
I’d imagine so. Less oil, means less gooey-ness. I’d love to know how they turn out if you try it! Let me know! 😀
Soo ooey gooey and delicious looking!!! I need to make these!!! And top it off with a big scoop of ice cream.
oh my gosh. these look PERFECT. so incredibly gooey! these would be amazing with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce on top. Yum! I am saving this recipe!
Oh, no. *blinks*
I think I just licked the screen.
