Tada! π I’m so proud of this cake. I love it! Β It’s so pretty and colorful. Perfect for Spring and for my guest post on the ever lovely, Darla’s website: Bakingdom!
Head over and check it out! π
Weeee!
Oh, and today’s the last day to enter the giveaway! π
Absolutely stunning, Caroline!
Thank you Cassie! π
This is AMAZING! Love the height of it & of course, the fun colors!!!
looks awesome! off to check it out. =)
I have 4″ mini pans. maybe you can color them individually in the pan?
Totally. I just only had one, but if you have more than one, go for it. Also, if you’re doing 4 inch pans, I would halve the recipe for each layer. Otherwise you’ll have a WHOLE lotta cake. π Or just make a cake layer recipe and pour it into two cake pans. Happy Baking!
they come in sets of 3, and I just happen to have 2 sets. π
Perfect!
what kind of frosting is that? buttercream?
It’s actually a cream cheese frosting. π
yummy, my favorite frosting. extra never lasts long. I ended up freezing a nutella cream cheese frosting because I couldn’t stop eating it.
A guest post at Bakingdom?! Wow. π
And that cake looks amazing. I love how tall it is! Going to check it out now.
So so fun!!
This cake is freaking awesome! Love it!
So pretty! I’ve been wanting to make one of these since before I saw it on Martha Stewart ages… maybe even years ago? Yours looks perfect.
You did an amazing job on this cake. I love the vibrant colors and the sprinkles on just the bottom of the cake.
You should be proud, it is gorgeous!

So pretty! The sprinkles are definitely my favorite here π
That cake brings a smile to my face.
So cute! I love making rainbow cakes, they’re a tad time consuming but so worth it for the adorable, impressive outcome.
Yes have been wanting to make one of these for forever – I bet you’re glad you finally did. Its beautiful and the mini slices are so much more manageable than from a giant one!! Thanks for the post π
WOW! That’s one beautiful cake π
At school my class is studying weather and Friday is rainbow day! I’m going to have to try my hand at this project and treat my students!
