Leland has gotten a couple of toys from friends and family which he chooses to snuggle with. You’d think we were trying to butter him up before the baby comes, so he doesn’t hate us. He will always be my ‘first born’. Poor little guy, doesn’t know what’s about to happen.
Any advice on how to prepare the pup for a new baby?
Our dog has that same carrot too! Our pet is so emotionally needy so I’m afraid for the day that we have children.

Awww Leland, don’t be sad! You’ll have a little bebe chasing you around in no time! 😉 I think he’ll adjust just fine to the new baby. But just in case he’s feeling down, read through this: http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/pets_babies.html
Worst case, I’ll doggy-sit anytime ;)))
I will be honest, things with Kay and Frank were TOUGH for a while. He did not understand what she was and why she was making so much noise. We had to set up barriers to make sure he understood how close he was allowed to get to her. Over time, things have gotten MUCH better!
awww! Sweet little guy! I bet as time goes on, the two of them will be best friends!
Your pup is absolutely precious!
