Pimento Cheese {revisited}

Today, I’m revisiting a post that I did in the first few months of starting chocolate & carrots.Β It was a recipe for my grandmother’s famous and secret pimento cheese recipe.

The photos are awful and I’mΒ embarrassedΒ to even lead you over to that post to show you how bad they are. Β But, here ya are.

I guess it’s a good example of how much my photography has improved in a year and a half. So those of you who are still figuring it out, don’t give up! You can do it! πŸ˜€

And I must give a shout-out to my father-in-law, who has a birthday today. His favorite thing is my grandmother’s pimento cheese. He loves it so much, he’ll eat it by the spoonful. But, I must say…it isΒ that good. πŸ˜€ Happy Birthday!

  1. I love seeing where we all started with pictures. It’s really interesting to see the progression plus, there’s always a good giggle or cringe factor especially when looking at our own! πŸ™‚ Now I feel the need for a thick sandwich for lunch!

  2. If you want to see bad, check out the pictures from when I first started!! I’ve actually started re-doing some of the pictures, but I’m keeping the old ones posted as well, just to always remember where I started!

    I LOVE pimento cheese, and that sandwich is calling my name!

  3. Oh, you’re such an inspiration!! I just started a food blog about a month ago and I’m new to all of this, and it can be difficult when you have no idea how to take photos. You’re obviously doing very well for yourself, and I’ll never forget that I saw this down the road when I can hopefully one day take pics as well as you πŸ™‚ P.S. I want to eat that!! Looks so delish!
