Frozen Cookie Dough

I’m getting all prepared to go to deliver this baby! We’ve got a freezer full of frozen meals, but had no dessert! I can’t be expected to whip up cookies when the baby gets here, or better yet, make cookies while I’m in labor to bring to the nurses!

Hence, the frozen cookie dough.

I just made these cookies (without the nuts), scooped them onto baking sheets, and froze them!Β Once, they were frozen, I placed the dough balls into a freezer bag, labeled it, and it’ll stay in the freezer until I’m ready to have myself a cookie!

When you’re ready to bake the cookies, preheat the oven to 350Β°F, leave about 2″ of space between cookies, and bake for 8-10 minutes…straight from frozen!

Do you have a frozen cookie dough recipe you’d like to share (just leave links in the comment section below)?

I’d love to make more. Gotta stock up on the sweets! πŸ˜€

  1. Wow! This is such a great idea and so simple. Perfect for those unexpected guests or busy party-time treat! Thanks for sharing!

  2. What a great thing to have in the freezer for when the baby arrives. I am so excited for you!! And these cookies look amazing. Although, I’m pretty sure that I would sneak the dough often enough that there would rarely be any cookies baked out of them!

  3. Though I may not remember all the advice that’s given to me when my husband and I decide to start a family, I’ll remember this! What a brilliant idea and an exciting time for you both! Thanks for sharing these great looking cookies, Caroline. Also, I’m having a ChicWrap giveaway today that you should enter!

  4. you are a girl after my own heart. I love my freezer and it is always filled with sauces, frozen purees, homemade waffles, muffins, and scones, and of course, cookie doughs. Congrats on the baby – having your freezer stalked is key with a new little obsession around!

    1. That’s awesome! Ever since I’ve been breastfeeding I’ve been pumping the oatmeal and flaxseed. That’s such a great idea! πŸ˜€
