This is a stroopwafel.
I was first introduced to the stroopwafel this past Christmas when one of my sisters, Margaret, hosted a foreign exchange student for the holidays. He is from the Netherlands a.k.a. Holland and brought us some of these. Just after obsessing over them (and also eating my body weight’s worth), we all went shopping at World Market to snag some after-Christmas deals and I spotted these! Mini stroopwafels!
They are amazingly addicting and delicious…inspiring me to make a cupcake after them, with the help of one of my other sisters, Eliza. If you’d like the recipe and to read more about what in the world a stroopwafel is, head over to Huffington Post!
You can buy mini-stoopwafel in Starbucks here (which I mainly know because I ate a whole bag last weekend) so I’m definitely going to make these. What a great idea!
Love those things…SO GOOD!!
I pinned this recipe last night because it looked so amazingly good… I had no idea it was yours! Lady, I LOVE these. Making them as soon as humanly possible!
I really need a dozen of these, stat!
Heading over to get the recipe! 🙂
These look so good! I’m sold on anything cupcake and caramel. I need to try the stoopwafel!
Oh my gosh I LOVE those things! I get them from World Market and Trader Joe’s whenever I’m in a city that has them. Great idea for the cupcake
