Whole Grain Day {Giveaway} #samplewholegrains

Whole Grain Day -3

Being a food blog that primarily focuses on healthier baking, it’s only fitting that I be a part of Whole Grain Sampling Day. Whole Grain Sampling Day is a nationwide,ย annual initiative designed to introduce consumers to the health benefits and great taste of whole grains. There’s even going to be a Whole Grains Toast at noon today! So, post your toast on facebook, twitter or instagram with the hashtag #SampleWholeGrains.

So, when Oldways and the Whole Grains Council asked me to be a Whole Grains Ambassador it was love at first bite. As my first mission, I’m here to tell you to eat more whole grains! Woot!

I sought out to try these lovely goodies filled with whole grains:

Well, I can happily say that between my husband and myself we’ve tried most of them and have chosen our favorites!

It’s a no brainer, but my favorite has been Pamela’s Oatmeal Cookie Mix.ย I threw in a 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips and voila!
