Easy No Peel Applesauce #nosugaradded

Easy No Peel Applesauce | chocolateandcarrots.com

My little guy LOVES applesauce. I’ve made homemade applesauce once before and it was so labor intensive having to peel and dice the apples, sauté until tender, blend, cool…yada, yada, yada.

This has all changed.

Let me introduce you to the two step, two ingredient, no sugar added way of making applesauce!

I’m not sure why it took me this long to figure out how to make it like this, but it sure is a time savor with a hungry toddler at your feet! And to tell you the truth, there’s nothing like warm and creamy homemade applesauce eaten right out of the blender.

My life is forever changed.

Change yours and make this applesauce.

  1. This is great because it has the skins still in there, so it contains fiber and antioxidants. This is a GREAT recipe!! 🙂

    1. Totally what I was loving about this applesauce! 😀 I mean, sometimes I eat apples, just to eat the skin! So good for you.

  2. If you have a kitchen aid mixer, you can buy an attachment that makes it even easier. Just halve and then steam your apples, then put them through the attachment. It stems, cores, seeds the apples for you and you’re left with delicious sauce! Can add cinnamon (and sugar if desired) at that point. We go through applesauce like water at my house, so this is a huge timesaver!
