I’ve never been a huge Elvis fan, but that man knew how to make a sandwich.
Then, I one-upped him and added chocolate.
Sorry, Elvis.
Really my first recollection of Elvis was while watching Forrest Gump for the first time. Have you seen it? We were all super excited to see that movie when it first came out because parts of it were shot right here in South Carolina! And our neighbor friends growing up were extras in the movie. When you’re 7 years old and have friends in a movie, it’s a big deal.
For reals.
Anyway. Let’s get back to this ooey gooey, melty panini. It’d be wonderful for any meal…breakfast to dinner and even dessert! I personally loved downing a healthified green salad, full of vegetables, and then slamming my face into this sandwich. I never feel as bad eating the Elvis Sandwich after eating my veggies.
It’s how I roll.
Get your sandwich on and start swiveling your hips!

I am dying over this!! Yesssssss!!
I really don’t think Elvis would mind a little chocolate! Your idea is stellar!
