This Simple Monster Kale Smoothie is perfectly portioned and elegantly sweet with a side of spooky. I’m excited to be partnering with Dole Salads to share a healthier option for your Halloween treats!
I, for one, know that the key to sugar is moderation. Halloween is one of those holidays were we all just dive into the sugar rush. But in the midst of it all, my toddler has no idea that’s the name of the game. Since I love making things healthier, why not jazz up a healthy smoothie and make it creepy and spooky for Halloween? He’ll think it’s extra fun and enjoy every sip.
It’s such a great way to encourage our families to make good choices, but not lose the fun!
The smoothie couldn’t be simpler to whip up, too. Just a quick blend of the ingredients and carefully lay the eye sprinkles on top of the smoothie and you have yourself a Simple Monster Kale Smoothie!
Plus, everything tastes better out of a straw.
Oh and to make it even more fun and spooky, as you drink the smoothie, the eyes kind of get sucked down into the smoothie (at least for my cups) and it looks so creepy! Then, you get to fish out the eyes at the very end for a crunch sprinkle treat.

Simple Monster Kale Smoothie
- 1/2 cup Dole Pineapple Juice
- 1 cup loosely packed Dole Power Up Greens Kale
- 1 large frozen Dole banana, sliced
- 3 eye sprinkles
- Blend all ingredients together and serve with eye sprinkles.

A tasty smoothie I enjoy is made with frozen strawberries and blueberries, a banana, a scoop of vanilla protein powder and apple juice.
